AUTOMOTIVE SALES & LEASING CONSULTANT

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an Automotive Sales and Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing or leasing the right vehicles to meet their needs and preferences. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing exceptional customer service while maximizing sales opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Transparency is integral to our sales process, and your main goal will be to educate your customers and guide them through the murky, sometimes scary world of vehicle procurement.

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
  • Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Provide detailed information about various vehicle models, features, specifications, and pricing options.
  • Conduct test drives to demonstrate vehicle capabilities and performance.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Sales and Lease Consultation:

  • Guide customers through the sales or lease process, presenting available vehicle options based on their requirements.
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate vehicle, discussing financing and lease options, and negotiating pricing terms.
  • Explain the benefits of different financing and leasing plans, warranties, and add-on products.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to secure financing or lease approvals for customers.
  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently to ensure a smooth transaction process.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships by providing personalized service and follow-up.
  • Keep clients informed about new vehicle models, promotions, and relevant updates.
  • Proactively reach out to existing and potential customers to generate leads and drive repeat business.
  • Attend networking events and participate in community activities to expand the dealership's customer base.

Product Knowledge and Industry Awareness:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the automotive industry.
  • Continuously develop a comprehensive understanding of the dealership's vehicle lineup and its features.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in automotive sales, leasing, or a customer-facing role.
  • In-depth knowledge of various vehicle makes, models, features, and specifications.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using sales management software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

QUICK LUBE TIRE LUBE TECHNICIAN

Position Overview:

Beck Motors tire & lube technicians are responsible for performing vehicle maintenance in our service department. Their usual duties include the light care automotive work such as oil and filter changes, performing tire installations and rotations, multi-point inspections. This position is an excellent starting point into the automotive dealership for the aspiring Automotive Technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Check and communicate oil level to teammates
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Perform tire rotations, installations and balance tires
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Complete vehicle inspection looking for other items needing repair
  • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer's perspective
    comes first
  • Maintain dealership records

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience changing oil / tires in a Professional Setting
  • Communication skills - communicates effectively with others.
  • Time management - managing one's own time and time of others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

DETAILER

Beck Motor Company is now looking for a Detailer to join our Team!

Position Overview:
  • Wash and wax vehicles
  • Clean interior and exterior windows
  • Vacuum, shampoo and scrub interior of the vehicle
